Snyder's Flats is located just outside of Waterloo, Ontario in an old gravel pit beside the town of Bloomingdale. It is under the management of the Grand River Conservation Authority and is home to a surprising amount of wildlife considering how close the the city it is. I for one am very glad that it is all flood plain and cannot be developed.
